At this exhibition, Cowon showcases three new models released in the fourth quarter this year in addition to their three signature products: 'iAUDIO 4', featuring high-quality 124-color backlight visualizations, 'iAUDIO M3', a super-slim, multi-function, hard disk-type MP3 player, and 'iAUDIO U2', a super-mini fashionable MP3 player.

Available to the public for the first time are three new models: the 'iAUDIO G3' with up to 50 hours of playback time, the 'iAUDIO 5', an upgraded model of the 'iAUDIO 4', and the 'iAUDIO M5', featuring a 1.8 inch, 260,000-color LCD.

Designed for long play with up to 50 hours from one AA battery, the iAUDIO G3 is a multi-function model that supports super-high speed downloading with USB 2.0, as well as direct encoding, FM radio reception, and recording. In addition to MP3, iAUDIO G3 can play multi codecs, including OGG, WMA, ASF and WAV. Its embedded clock supports time display, alarms, and scheduled recording of FM radio programs. The iAUDIO G3 can be used as a portable storage device as well.

The iAUDIO 5 features a large, wide LCD embedded with 124-color backlight visualizations. It supports super-high speed downloading with USB 2.0, and adopts the most powerful BBE sound system that allows you to control a whopping 1.2 trillion different sound tones. iAUDIO 5 also provides such features as automatic lyrics display, clock and alarms, and scheduled recording of FM radio.

The iAUDIO M5 is a hard-disk type MP3 player with a built-in 1.8 inch, 260,000-color LCD. In addition to listening to music, you can directly connect it to a digital camera without a PC using the OTG (On-The-Go) feature to enjoy various images and videos. Furthermore, iAUDIO M5 supports FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec) to deliver CD sound quality for those that demand high-quality music.

CEO Park Nam Gyu said, 'When our three new iAUDIO models are released, Cowon's flagship line-up will increase from three to six, and this will greatly contribute to increasing sales.' He also commented, 'Our brand recognition will be improved through KES and we will further consolidate our position as the leading Korean MP3 player.'

Cowon Systems has designed their iAUDIO booth for KES 2004 as an oval-shaped 'Space in Space', with varying appearances and colorful illuminations. They will go beyond simple display to focus on real sound experiences so that visitors can personally experience the products while comfortably seated. In addition, Cowon has organized various events including Lotto and a draw for various door-prizes such as iAUDIO MP3 players, hip sacks, PDAs, and ball-point pens.
