The new iAUDIO X5 features a wide and luxurious 1.8 inch, 260,000-color TFT LCD for users to enjoy digital pictures, music videos and movies as well as music. Despite its high 20 and 30 GB memory capacity, its ultra-slim design makes it as small as mini-HDD products from other companies. Anyone can easily convert and play various video contents using JetAudio, a digital multimedia software application developed by COWON SYSTEMS, Inc. The iAUDIO X5 boasts the smallest slim design of its kind weighing in at a mere 145g, an embedded battery, high-quality aluminum exterior, and up to 14 hours of playback from about three hours of charging. Released simultaneously, its sibling, the iAUDIO X5L, can play up to 35 hours on a single 6 hour charge. It supports the high-speed USB 2.0 downloading of 480 Mbps, and you can quickly send pictures taken with a digital camera to the iAUDIO X5 without a PC using its USB host feature (On-The-Go). You can also enjoy novels and pictures through its built-in text and image file viewer, and read texts or lyrics while listening to music, a convenient feature for language study. Moreover, the Navigation feature allows you to browse other song titles while listening to music, and the convenient built-in clock lets you program alarms and automatic timed recording of FM radio programs. As for file formats, iAUDIO X5 supports not only MP3, but WMA, ASF, WAV, and OGG, but is also the first Korean player to support the FLAC lossless audio compression codec, as well as JPEG for still images, and XviD and MPEG-4 for video. In order to realize high-fidelity sound, iAUDIO X5 is equipped with JetEffect sound field effects that have fine-tuned the world-famous BBE sound effects, allowing you a whopping 1.2 trillion sound tone choices.
