COWON A2 Wins 'iF Design Award 2006' |

December 9, 2005, Seoul – COWON SYSTEMS (CEO Park NamKyu, www.cowon.com) announced that its next-generation wide PMP 'COWON A2' won 'iF Product Design Award' in Germany, the most authoritative design award in the world.
'COWON A2', COWON's next flagship model and the first PMP product had been selected as the 'Good Design' product by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy in Korea for the second half of 2005 for its elegance and luxurious style. Now, the company has symbolized its prestigious position in the field of global design by winning the internationally renowned iF Product Design Award.
The iF Product Design Award is one of the most authoritative public design competitions in the industrial design field together with IDEA in the USA. The award is selected through rigorous examination processes by a board of examiners based on 10 criteria including practicality, safety, durability, and creativity.
The winning design will be showcased at the CeBIT exhibition in Hanover, Germany in March next year. COWON expects it to be an excellent opportunity to demonstrate their technology and marketability as well as product design. |
