COWON SYSTEMS (CEO Park Nam Kyu, www.cowon.com) announced that they entered into strategic partnerships with prestigious international online music service providers, eMusic (www.eMusic.com) and Sound Buzz (www.soundbuzz.com) to provide online music download services to users of iAUDIO, the company's MP3 player.
eMusic, a worldwide online music service provider based in New York, is especially popular in the USA and Europe because their subscribers can download music files and use them freely without separate DRM based on a fixed monthly fee. Sound Buzz is a leading online music service provider in Southeast Asia and Oceania and plans to expand their services to Europe.
COWON said iAUDIO users can now download and enjoy a variety of world music anywhere around the world with just a click.
In particular, JetAudio, COWON's integrated multimedia program supplied with iAUDIO provides a main menu for integrated service where users can directly connect to the eMusic or Sound Buzz sites and conveniently download and enjoy music using either a PC or an MP3 player.
