COWON Participates in Cebit 2006 to Capture European Market |

COWON SYSTEMS (CEO Park Nam-Gyu, www.cowon.com) announced that it would participate in Cebit in Hanover, Germany from March 9th and exhibit seven models including the MP3 player iAUDIO 6 and the PMP Cowon A2 in its own booth.
First introduced in the European market through this exhibition, iAUDIO 6, the world's first 0.85-inch super-mini HDD-type MP3 player, was favorably received at the Computer Electronics Show in Las Vegas last January and is expected to win additional popularity in the European market as well.
Moreover, Cowon has prepared meetings with buyers to export the PMP Cowon A2, which is already well recognized for excellent quality by experts in Europe as well as in the USA and Japan.
In mid-February, Cowon concluded a contract to export products to Russia worth 62 million dollars, and plans to set a firm foundation to achieve its export goals by actively developing European markets through this Cebit exhibition.
Park Nam-Gyu, CEO of COWON said, 'Last year we increased our exports to Europe by over three times from the previous year. We will be able to firmly establish the brand image of Cowon in Europe through this exhibition.' |
