COWON Supports 'CSD Viewer' that Shows Document and Image Files in PMP |

COWON SYSTEMS (CEO Park Nam-Gyu, www.cowon.com), the digital device & contents company, announced that it partnered with Dream To Reality Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Jong-Chul,www.CSDcenter.com), an integrated e-document technology development company, to provide a specialized document viewer feature called 'CSD Viewer' loaded on the COWON A2 for the first time in the PMP market.
CSD Viewer allows users to view not only Hangeul and MS Word files, but also Power Point documents and other image files. As it offers zoom in & out, rotate, and merge functions as well, now users can enjoy cartoons on their PMP.
COWON explained that the viewer was loaded on its COWON A2 PMP product supplied to the Korea Cyber University last February, and its lecture presentation and report viewer feature enhanced the functionality of COWON A2 as a study device.
In particular, If mTrans, free software offered by Cowon, is used to convert and send document files stored in a PC to a PMP, anyone can view documents easily on a COWON A2.
COWON's CEO Park Nam-Gyu added,'Based on the stability of COWON A2, we are planning to add various features to increase the utilization level of PMP,' and continued 'By actively responding to consumer needs, we will widely expand PMP usage and popularity.' |
