COWON SYSTEMS (CEO Namkyu Park www.cowon.com), specializing in digital devices and contents, announced the launch of the jewelry design high class necklace type MP3P 'iAUDIO T2' on June 20th.
'iAUDIO T2' is COWON's first necklace type MP3P, a multifunctional product designed for use as an ultra-mini MP3P when the earphone cap is disconnected. It's also perfect as a fashion item with a high class black diamond style design that looks like a luxurious pendant, and it was also nominated as an outstanding product for Good Design in the first half of 2006.
Weighing just 24.5g (with battery), it's portable and it's the first to offer a color LCD as a necklace type product, allowing elaborate and diverse screen savers of the user's choice, while the built-in lithium polymer battery allows 12 hour continuous play with just 2 hours of charging through USB or regular adapters.
Using a built-in microphone, short meetings and lectures can easily be recorded, while the enclosed simple USB connecter jack enables usage as a convenient portable disk. FM radio, watch, alarm, and sleep settings are some of its functions, and it's also useful for studying as it offers section repetition, section search, bookmarks, and play speed control.
'iAUDIO T2' supports not only MP3 but also WMA, OGG, WAV as well as FLAC lossless compression and other diverse digital audio formats, while its output of up to 46mW provides powerful yet delicate sound quality through Cowon's unique real sound scope like BBE, Mach3Bass, MP Enhance, and 3D Surround.
It is particularly noteworthy that USB can be connected without disconnecting the earphone cap and that user convenience was considered in the design for data transmission and recharging. |
