COWON D2, selected among the 'MUST SEE LIST' at CES 2007 by CNET |

COWON SYSTEMS (CEO Nam-Gyu Park, www.cowon.com) announced that Cowon's premium MP3 player, 'Cowon D2' was chosen among the 'MUST SEE LIST' at 'CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2007' by CNET editors.
CNET selected 10 products that visitors must see at CES 2007, and introduced them in the guide pamphlet distributed to visitors. Among the 10 products, 2 were Korean, which were COWON D2 and LG Electronics' large scale PDP TV. COWON D2 is a high-end premium MP3 player with a high-quality touch screen featuring 16 million colors and plays various formats of audio and high-quality video clips at 30 frames. It has been very popular both in and outside Korea since its release last December.
Cowon set up an independent booth in the CES South Hall this year and is showcased its 8 main products including its 'COWON D2,' next-generation PMP 'COWON Q5' and a premium navigation 'COWON N2.'
Nam-Gyu Park, the Cowon CEO, said, 'Cowon's premium products are attracting huge attention at the show. We plan to advance into overseas markets aggressively through premium marketing based on our high-end positioning strategy.'
On the other hand, CNET's 'MUST SEE LIST' includes other prominent products such as MS Windows Vista, Nokia multi-media mobile phone, and a Dell Blue-ray laptop. |
