COWON SYSTEMS (CEO: Nam-Gyu Park, www.cowon.com) released a new online integrated multimedia solution, Cowon Media Center - JetAudio, .
COWON Media Center - JetAudio is a total multimedia content management software package that integrates computers, devices, files and the Internet.
Device Manager, an new feature, automatically interlocks various digital devices such as MP3 players and PMPs with a computer when they are connected to it; this feature allows the devices to quickly search content saved on the computer and easily download or upload files by dragging and dropping them, and also converts content to fit a player's specifications, or directly play them on the computer.
Furthermore, it supports convenient tag browsing and editing features and can automatically classify audio and video files that are saved on a PC by artist, album, genre, rank and tempo from tags. It also allows individual file and batch file tag editing. You can use file mode and tag mode simultaneously, and use the tag editing feature to easily insert album images.
Since all the existing features of JetAudio are provided in a simple toolbar, you can conveniently use Cowon Media Center while doing other PC tasks.
Cowon Media Center also supports remote control in Windows XP and Vista MCE (Media Center Edition), further increasing user convenience.
JetAudio not only offers true-to-nature audio quality mostly felt in high-end home audio systems with high fidelity digital sound effects and a multi-band equalizer, which are the greatest advantages of JetAudio, but also is devoted more than ever to basic features of playing most video files as well as audio files such as MP3, WMA, OGG, FLAC, APE, XviD, MPEG4 and WMV9. File conversion features have been further upgraded to enable converting files to a variety of formats based on each digital device. Also, the old standby features that people have come to love and expect such as audio CD ripping (Rip CD), audio recording (Recording), audio CD burning (Burning) and personal Internet broadcasting are all still included.
