COWON Products Get Rank Top from Germany's 'Computer Build' |

September 5, 2007 – Seoul, Cowon Systems (CEO Nam-Gyu Park, www.COWON.com) announced the selection of their MP3 and PMP as top products as a result of comparative evaluations on products made by Germany's prestigious IT magazine, 'Computer Build.'
Computer Build, one of Germany's most influential IT magazines, announced the results of revisiting each of the quality aspects of all products they had been reviewing since 2005, including sound quality, maneuverability, playback time, reaction speed, and many other functions in their September issue published during the 'IFA 2007 in Germany'. The top spot in comprehensive evaluation was taken by Cowon D2 among new MP3 products, by Cowon X5 among existing products, and by Cowon A2 among PMP products.
A representative of Cowon explained that since, in addition to Computer Build, evaluations by other popular local IT magazines like 'TV Movie Multimedia', 'SFT', 'Test & Kauf', and 'MP3 Flash' also put Cowon's products on top of their competitors, the Cowon brand is expected to reinforce its standing in Germany where IT products have come under the spotlight during the exhibition.
Cowon's Managing Director for Sales Marketing, Mr. Ki-Woong Lee said, 'We were in the middle of vigorous marketing activities at our booth in the exhibition when the positive local articles were published, which has brought a higher recognition of the technological edge in Cowon's products,' and added, 'We plan to build on the brand awareness to take on the market more aggressively in Europe.' |
