COWON Introduces Slim MP3P 'iAUDIO U5' |

January 7, 2008 - Seoul, Cowon Systems Inc. (CEO Nam-Kyu Park, www.cowon.com) announced that it will release a slim and convenient portable MP3P, iAUDIO U5, on January 10.
'iAUDIO U5' with its simple and sophisticated accessory-like design has an 'optimal slim' structure, enabling easier operation, and has a user interface geared towards convenience to let users to find what is playing at a glance.
'iAUDIO U5' supports a variety of audio formats including MP3, OGG, WMA, WAV as well as Free Lossless Audio Codec (FLAC). In addition, users can enjoy Cowon's unique JetEffect sound effects including BBE, Mach3Bass, MP Enhance, 3D Surround, an EQ filter and 64mW powerful high-output sound.
The built-in lithium polymer battery supports continuous playback of up to 24 hours with just 2 hours of charging. Users can also use 'iAUDIO U5' as a removable disk by connecting it to their computer with a USB cable.
Its many other convenient features include FM radio real-time/scheduled recording and voice recording with a highly efficient built-in microphone. It also supports various features for language study including section repeat, section search, bookmark, and adjustable playback speed.

'iAUDIO U5' is available in 2GB and 4GB models, and it is available in four colors including black-sliver, black-red, white-sliver and white-red.
